The salary survey has been brought up in the CAD manager's group a few times
and I've posted an annoucement over there, but, I thought you all might want
to know that the AUGI annual salary survey is running right now. Click the
above link for some FAQ or go straight to the survey...
    http://augi.com/surveys/salary2005.asp

the results will be published in the Jan/Feb 2006 issue of AUGIworld which
is also available in electronic format.

LAST YEAR was the FIRST time Facilities Management was included in the AUGI
Salary Survey ( :smileywink: last year was my first time as Survey Manager and asked
that it be included). There were 85 respondents who worked in Facilities
Management. I want to greatly increase that for this year, so that I could
provide some discipline-specific information (likely as a pdf document in
the AUGIworld Forum. http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=30) this year
    for OUR use.

We don't hold that large of a market share, and I'm sure when everyone else
in the facility is getting salary and job description comparisons they are
coming up dry for you and just handing you a cost-of-living increase.
Take this survey so we have some REAL numbers to hand over.

Thank You! to all those who have participated and all those who will
    participate.
    Please use plain text.

well... I ran a couple of quick numbers last night, the amount of total
respondents has nearly doubled so far, but, the amount of FM'ers has only
    increased by about 1/3... :smileysad:

    Check it out... http://augi.com/surveys/default.asp?page=1053
There's a sheet of results just for Facilities Management on the above
page... checking out the 'fast stats' file, you might be suprised to see
that FM ranks 6th for highest average pay... not bad. :smileywink:

hmm, we're 20% female and women make an average of 12.6% less than men with
similar experience... so, in reality this should be a bit higher...
    nevermind my statistical ponderings... :smileyhappy:

It's that time of year again!
The Salary Survey is running through the end of the month.
Please take five minutes to log in and input your data.

First link is the actual survey, 2nd link shows what we can
do when we have a decent amount of data.
The 3rd link shows what we put out when there just aren't
enough responses to pull many trends from.
I'd like to provide even more than we did last year, but, I
need people to chime in so I have something to work with.

    2002-2004 Salary Survey Results

To take the survey and obtain the results, you do have to
be an AUGI member, but, it's free, and you can easily set
your preferences under the 'my augi' link to NOT receive
any emailings if you so prefer.

Thanks to all who choose to participate!
