I downloaded and installed Maya 2012 in my Opensuse 12.1. I followed the procedures and have student license installed. When launching maya I got an error message :
'/usr/autodesk/maya2012-x64/bin/maya.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
So I copied the two files-'libcrypto.so.6' and 'libssl.so.6' from 'support' folder to maya2012-x64/lib folder as instructed.
But I still get a different error now:
/usr/autodesk/maya2012-x64/bin/maya.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.0.9.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
