    daylighting light shelf

I am trying to find the affect of a light shelf in a daylighting analysis. I am exporting to Radiance with these settings:

    Sunnywith sun

    over analysis grid

    include material definitions

    indirect reflection = 4

    Illuminuance Lux

    model detail = high

    Light variability = low

    I have the following materials:

    Clear single glass

    white painted concrete ceiling

    concrete floor

glass wall on the opposite side of the bay

1200 deep stainless steel light shelf

I tagged the light shelf as a reflector and I can visually see the rays bouncing in the space. But the daylghting analysis does not show the interior of the room with higher light levels from the reflected light.

The analysis grid is at desk height and the buidling is located in abu dhabi

Could you tell me what I am doing wronge. The reflected light should be read by the calculation, correct?

I actually want to use a system light these lightlouvers, but when that was not calculating correctly, I thought that I would test the software with a very simple model.

    Thanks for your help!
