What's up with the Orange Name Labels

Curious change: who or what determines the labels and icons I see with the regular contributors?

It's painful remarks like that one that make me believe anti-kudos are necessary. A good one, though.

Since I'm not one for flashy tags (I'm a blend-in-the-background type LOL) and the color is very (very) distracting on this otherwise color-uniform site, any chance it could be something less obnoxious like perhaps a blue or just a darker green?

I guess you always give Sage advise. I hesitate to speculate on what I may have Mastered.

    "Master" "Sage" "Distinguished Mentor", etc...

I want to know what it takes to get the "Yoda" or "Jedi" rating!

Or better yet, the "Peter Griffin" or "Homer" ratings!

    Mmmmmm.... forbidden DOH!nut....  :smileyvery-happy:

Most forums I visit allow for custom titles for the admins.  Might be a nice touch here for the AutoDesk folks.

Since you all (Autodesk-ers) get a boxed b/w A with no dramatic color variation on the name, it sure would be nice if an icon-based treatment was done for these contributor levels too, without the very distracting color changes to the name.

Or if necessary, only the icon need to be a color (and cutsey squiggle if needed), not the name.

Maybe you all should twitter-post for an icon designer along with your twice-daily (or was it four-times today?) Swiss-based bilingual future employee posts, and "re-assign" the color-happy dude(ette) in charge now to a more monochromatic task :smileyhappy:

"As you participate and rise through the levels, additional forum permissions will be made available"

Like what? I got the T-shirt :smileyhappy:

"At higher levels, we will offer more opportunities for engagement with Autodesk"

    Am I there yet :smileyhappy:
