    Thread Prefix

I like this from the AUGI site:

Tip for Creating a New Thread

A while back, we introduced a new feature to the forums called Thread Prefixes. These apply to most main product forums, like AutoCAD and Revit. It allows you to choose a release year to prefix your thread. This way, users who might answer your question know what release you're using. It also allows you to filter your searches on this info.

However, we've noticed that many aren't using this feature. Some are not using it at all. Others are manually typing it into their thread title. Here's how you use it. When you create a new thread, simply look for the Prefix: drop-down list, which is just above the Title text box, and select the year.

All that water out there and nobody taking a drink...

I think using such a feature on these forums would be virtually useless, simply because the preview of the thread title is already truncated (for what reason again, since there is plenty of wasted space...).  Using a prefix would make that preview even more useless.
