First impressions of the new forum, hmmm not overly impressed!

And how do you set your Author name back to how it was? Mine has changed!

Ahh yes, did all that, It's even got the correct name in there, but my name against post is still incorrect!

To the left of each post? Not a user option to edit, never has been since way before the last change/ old system. Contact Eric Wright with Autodesk, the guy posting about the forums changes, he might be able to help.

Yes, the name on the left.

This has changed from before the update, it should not read tnorman, it should, as it has always done read Trev N.

And yes, the last time they updated this forum, my name again changed but was easily put back, now I haven't a clue, hence I'm asking!

Find Eric Wright's email address and contact him for help, if it can be done that's the one person to do it. Then share with the group your findings of course, I'm sure you are not the only one.

the name on the left is the one you used to create a login ID IIRC

That may be so, but it's not the one I have used for the past few years as an identification on the forums.

Last week it was as I wanted it, since the update of the site it has changed.

You can change your login with the "EDIT ACCOUNT INFORMATION" link at the top right of any page just make the adjustments you want then enter your password and click "submit" at the bottom.

You will have to log out and back in with your new logon for this to take affect.
