Can you let us tag without replying?

Today there's an interesting post about using the " symbol in a dimension.  Nowhere in the thread is there the word "inch".  I'd like to be able to add a tag that says "inch" without having to reply, like we can do with kudos. 

Really though, tags don't seem to useful, at least the cloud function.  Perhaps they'd be good for administrators.  I think that the forums wouldn't miss tags.

Go to My Settings-->Tagging and make sure the box is checked to "Turn On Tagging".  That should do the trick.
