New Feature - Search Before Post

Seems like a very useful feature *BUT* (there's always a "but", isn't there?) it seems to search across ALL of the forums. While I was composing a message in the Inventor forum, It was suggesting some threads from the Revit and other AutoCAD forums. Now in THIS forum, it SHOULD work that way, but the search should be restricted to the proper forum.

As a momentary solution, one can identify the source forum of the suggestions by hovering over the thread in the list and referencing the link's address.

The attached image is taken using Internet Explorer 8, which reports the address along the bottom. Hope this helps!

Good catch Corey - turns out with the release of this feature it is not able to filter by just the forum you are in - but Lithium is hot on the trail and will implement a fix with our upgrade which should occur by mid-December.  We'll verify when it occurs and update this post.

    Thanks for pointing it out!

This still isn't working correctly, any word? This feature really doesn't do much good if users aren't provided with solutions from the proper forum. Just looking for an update on this issue.

    Thanks,

Corey, can you give me an example of what you were searching for and in what forum? I can't seem to get it to recommend anything outside of the forum I'm in.

While composing a message in the Revit MEP forum with the subject "Title Block", the first four suggestions presented were from the Inventor forum, with the fifth hailing from the AutoCAD 2013 forum.

Ahhh... there we go. So, search suggestions from the search box work. Search suggestions from the subject box do not. Odd.

    Thanks for the clarification, Corey!
