I am a part-time 3D Animation instructor. One of my students is having a problem with a file she created in class. She recently downloaded the lastest (student) version of Maya 2012, but it will not allow her to open the file from class. So far we have tried:
- saving file (in classroom) as Binary and ASCII
- checking and un-checking "Ignore Version" on both the classroom and at home Maya versions
One suggestion we've received is to find a version of Maya 2012 that is closer (chronologically) to the version installed on the classroom computers (installed back in late 2011) and install it on her home computer. If so, where can we find the version of the installation file?
Any other suggestions?
