Is it true that this feature is not available to ALL users? I (as a moderator) can not set own avatar, but new users can do it.

Yes, I vote for something very practical like that myself.

I agree.  I've always enjoyed the simplicity and professional look of the Autodesk forums over the typical forum look elsewhere that's cluttered with over-personalization.  Live spellcheck would be nice. I noticed it is a check option now at least. Reply to forum post via the email notification would be nice.  More Macro space would be nice.  I filled those rather quickly.  I've also noticed that you lose the ability to edit posts after awhile.  Maybe I am being too picky now that we're seeing all these changes of late. 

I'll go answer some forum posts now.

It appears there is no way to remove the avatar once you have chosen it.  Ugh...

Editing of posts at a later time/date may be a forthcoming enhanced feature as you prove yourself worthy.

Upload something blank, wait for approval, and then select it as your Avatar.

Simple is (was) good. There's quickly getting to be too much going on visually. I'm not seeing an option to turn off avatar display under My Settings, or am I missing it?

BTW - That live spellcheck suggestion deserves it own thread...
