    Printing to Oce TDS700

I have an Oce TDS700 using the Oce WPD 1.15 driver. When I select this device in ADR2009's print dialog I'm told "The printer is not available for printing.". We have an Oce TCS500 setup using the same driver and that works fine.

The reason I keep mentioning the driver is that another office has had a problem with the 1.15 driver and their TDS700, which resulted in ADR closing down when the queue was selected, but reverting back to the 1.13 driver sorted the problem for them.

I can't do this as we can't print from most windows applications using the 1.13.

Any idea what the printer not available message actually means?

I am guessing that the Power Logic Controller for the TDS700 is returning an
unavailable status. My guess is that you are not having this problem with
other applications. The weird thing is that ADR just prints like Word or
other applications. It does not have special drivers like AutoCAD.

    Thanks for the input Scott.

I've tested the device with Acrobat and it printed fine.

ADR is fine with all of the other devices I have installed (various copiers, printers, pdf writers, xps writers etc.) from different manufacturers and they're OK.

Incidentally, we don't use Heidi drivers any more for the Oce, as the WPD they provide is meant for AutoCAD too.

Did this ever get resolved? I have the same problem with ADR and an OCETDS320 plotter. Our OCETDS600 plotters work fine.

    Rebooted
    Unistalled reinstalled driver and printer
Tried it from Productstream with same result
Tried it from ADR itself with the same error.
