Horizontal Lines when I print to PDF

Printing some larger, more complex DWF files to PDF -- especially when I print to
a larger "page" format, above ANSI or ARCH "C" size -- produces areas of gradient
that are streaked through with horizontal lines. The lines are white or light gray, a
couple of pixels high, and separated from one another by bands of the correct
color, also only a couple of pixels high.
Anyone else ever see that kind of printing error? I can usually Photoshop the
streaks out, without a whole lot of extra time and effort -- but it's such a
consistent fault. Only happens going DWF to PDF.
FWIW, I have a Win 7 64-bit box with lots of extra RAM, a good graphics card,
and Acrobat Pro Extended version 9.5.2.My Design Review version is 13.0.0.63.
