Hi,
I have installed Autodesk Design Review in Windows 7 with Internet explorer 8.
No intallation problem.
But, when I try to open a DWF document with IE8 in my web site, IE8 freeze and not respond.
(Before, the installation programme asked me administrative permissions for first use (in IE8).)
My application work fine in XP SP3 / IE8.
Thanks you for your help.
AHS
Hi,
Thank you for posting.
I cannot reproduce your issue on our test machine (Win7+ADR2011+IE8).
Could you please check while you open DWF/DWFx files in IE8, you have already allowed ActiveX controls to run in IE?
Hope this helps,

Hi,
Finaly, I solve the issue : the hot fix "adr_2011_hotfix.zip" (also intalled) seems to be not compatible with W7 and IE8...
Thanks for your help.
Hi AHS
There is a little problem in our Hotfix installer. If you are using Win7, you can resolve this issue by deleting the key ‘{69BD6A6D-F788-4A34-BAE9-76AB5F69EF9D}’ under path ‘HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Autodesk\DWF Common\Settings\Document Handlers’ for 64bit or ‘HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\DWF Common\Settings\Document Handlers’ for 32bit in your registry.
Please let me know if this can be of help.
