Brian Pene showed me Autodesk Design Review running on an iPad using Citrix.
I will see if I can get the URL from him.

    1. On the iPad, go to the App Store.
    2. Get and install the Citrix App.
    3. Fire up the Citrix App and request a demo.
    4. Citrix will email you a connection to their server that has Autodesk
    Design Review on it.

Brian Pene said that with a good Internet connection, it seemed like a
    native experience.

Instead of Citrix, I used LogMeIn Ignition & a local computer. Beats having to store anything on the iPad.

Can't Autodesk just create a "stand-alone" app for the ipad to view dwf's and IV files? I'm not worried about the files size, seeing as it would usually be for sales demos anyways

Hi, I saved a dwf file from a email attachment on my iPad and tried to open it with IPM viewer. I could not open in from the email direct and also could not open the file once it was saved. Is there any way of opening a dwf file direct from a email or the iPad directory? Why is this file format unknown on the iPad once the app is installed? Can somebody help me on this?

Thanks for the request.  We'd like to understand how people think they would use DWF on the iPad/iPhone.

Can you give some details on what you'd use this for?  Would you view 2D sheet, 3D models?  What would you do, if anything, after you look at it on the iPad?  How many people in your organization would use it?  Who are they?  Can we contact you if we have further questions?

Hi, we would like to view both 2D and 3D.

2D will be used only for viewing probably also markup if possible.

3D would be great to have similar functions like in design review: sections, hide, part properties display, markup

We would have different areas in our company that would use it: Design supervisors, workshop supervisors, maintenace and also sales guys.

You can contact me, best by direct mail
