Good day!
Is it possible to change the color of object?
Is it possible to get some object identifier, which is defined in autocad2006 (parameter, attribute, etc.)?
Is it possible (i guess no but in future builds... may be...) to crosscut all objects in view like ModelPress does?
Thanks!

Using an unpublished API you can select an object, other then that you can't
change the color.

Using an unpublished API this is possible.

If you used the unpublished API's they may not be available or may change
between releases. We do not publish these API's because they are not
finalized and may change from one product release to the next. If you use
these API's you may need to update your applications when the next release
of the viewers comes out.

Post them here, the designers pull items from this newsgroup and assess if
they should be in the product.

First of all, thanks a lot for the reply!

Pardon. I'm still confused a bit. First of all - where can i grab that unpublished API? What is that - another active-x or just wrapper to existing autodesk controls?
And one more question, the last one (sorry for inconvenience/offtopic): how can i add custom properties for a 3dsolid said so in autocad 2005,2006? Just i'm in need in quick start.

All the viewer APIs published and unpublished are shipped with the viewer.
The difference is that Autodesk will change the unpublished APIs with most
releases. Additionally, Autodesk not does encourage using the unpublished
APIs and will likely not help you use them.
The unpublished 3D API is in the EModelViewer.dll open it up in an OLE
object browser
(http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/techinfo/res kit/tools/existing/oleview-o.asp)
and you will see the methods on this API. The samples I posted are in C#.
Are you looking for samples in some other language?
I don't know much about publishing objects from AutoCAD, hopefully someone
else can help with that question or you may want to ask in the AutoCAD news
group.

VB6
I would like the API to...
SimplePrint - Add a parameter for printing landscape. Most users have their
printer set to portrait. It would be nice to be able to use SimplePrint and
have it print landscape.
Control visibility of all toolbar and browser items. E.G.; Browser -
Views/Properties panes
Next / Previous cache should be cleared when a new dwf is opened.
Be able to customize built in toolbar to add a button and fire an event.
A more complete API help file with examples.
