We are a large project in Central New York that would like to know how other Constructware users work around the fact that the Punch List module does not allow you to link documents. Are people using File Director instead? Any advice would be appreciated!

We don't use the Punchlist module at all because it is lacking in many capacities (note: their "vaporware" version I saw TWO years ago was exactly what we would use but I don't think that's going anywhere). We use the ol' excel form uploaded into File Director so that we at least have the data associated with the project and attach any photos, etc within a punchlist file for reference.

We've found a workaround for attachments to punch list (not great, but doable), by using the attachment module in document management. We created a punch list folder in File Director and any attachments we upload will be linked to the punch list using the paperclip icon. Autodesk was not willing to finish the design in the punchlist module nor were they willing to be hired out to complete it, so we are looking to other companies such as Vella and Primavera. Very disappointed.
