vizrender materials

I open a linked file in Vizrender which has Xrefs. When I apply a material
to a
particular wall the program assigns it to all walls of the same style in the
xref . In order to apply different materials, do I have to apply different
wall styles as well ?

This would be the correct way, but you can also turn Auto Material
Propagation Toggle off, and you materials will be applied only to
selected walls.
