We're implementing ADT 3.3 for first time and building Style Library as we go. We need help with a couple doors. 1. Is there a way to create a double door with opposite swinging leafs? 2. What is the technique to create a standard door with glazed sidelite? Our attempts with window assemblies to create sidelites result in double frames around doors.
1. Create a new door style from scratch in the Style Manager [select Door Styles in the left pane, under your current drawing, then right-click New, give it a name, then double click to edit the properties], set the Door Type to "Double Opposing" on the Design Rules tab of the Door Style Properties dialog.
For full 3D fidelity, a window assembly is probably the way to go. Create door styles for use in window assemblies and set the frame widths to zero to avoid the double frame.
