how do you force ADT to authorize??

big (EDITED) during installation, and the result in an apparent
installation w/o a "registered to" and with a S/N of 000-00000000. To
software theives, this might be a good thing, but I'm trying to install
this - seat 6 out of 8. Previous installs were pretty much routine.

only thing weird about this machine, relative to the rest - is that it has
ms Office XP on it.

so, I wonder - is there a command that initiates the "authorization"
process?

thx

I'd post the hard drive to CF, but...

Scott,

I'm guessing Office XT is the culprit. I'd try uninstalling Office XP & ADT
& starting over with a new ADT install.

I'm Not going down that road just yet. ADT3.0 worked fine alongside Office
XP until I unistalled it this morning - prior to "the event" I'm in the
middle of right now. I suspect that I'll need to manually delete the
registry keys, folders, etc - and boy, am I excited about doing that.

Thanks, though. It may come to that - I just don't want to do it yet.
