creating new wall styles

Can anyone tell me how to construct my own wall styles that I can save and then use in drawings via the add wall box.
The ones that come with ADT are of little use to me

Thank You

Andy,

The best place to start is by editing the ones that ship with ADT. I like
to reverse engineer them to find out how to make mine work better. You can
also check the content news group there are some wall styles there with
which you can play.

If you have a specific problem post that and someone will help.

Andy,

In addition to Roberts comment, you can
import/export wall styles between drawings via Style Manager.

Uh Andy,

Are you going to get ticked off if I
say.............GET SOME TRAINING!!!! I didn't think so <G>.

As an alternative, as Dennis mentioned, there are a
boatload of styles in the C:\Program Files\Autodesk Architectural Desktop
3\Content\Imperial\Styles folder. Also, Elise Moss and Paul Aubin have very good
training manuals (try amazon.com or borders.com).

Training would be an excellent idea but out of the question as my employer has no more training budget.
I have to muddle through this without even a manual at the moment.
The whole ADT 3.3 thing feels alot less intuitive to me than AEC 5.1 which I have previously been using, with walls, windows etc being far more difficult to customise than previous.
I have now backward engineered some of the existing wall styles to suit my needs, but it did take a lot of time to get it right.

* There is some good information in the Help system. Look in the section
Walls > Changing Wall Style Properties.

* Visit this website -> http://archidigm.com

* In the "Braindumps" section of this website,
http://home.earthlink.net/~ccyanchar , you will find some information about
creating wall styles. (note: this was written for R2, but many of the
concepts still pertain)
