compatibility with MAYA

I am working in Arch Desktop 2006, and trying to send drawings to a renderer, who is working in MAYA. She said there were problems opening the drawing, i. e. 3d objects would not display.
Thoughts?

ADT AEC content is the problem, is that what you sent them, walls/doors roof
etc.? Maya version?

You and your recipient should be posting in the MAYA discussion area for
tips and workarounds from Maya peers:

Maybe you would have more luck bringing it into Max first, then trying to do
an export to Maya. Since Max plays well with ACA objects. Just a geuss on my
part though.
The suggestion to checkout what other Maya users suggest doing is a very
good one.
Good Luck,
