Window trim

Do windows in R3 have trim?
I do not see any settings for trim in the Window style definitions.
How can can I model window trim?

Thanks

As of yet there is no Trim gizmo. You will still need to attach custom
blocks for this as in ADT2.

Larry,
You could consider using a Window Assembly instead of a Window & Use a
custom frame profile. Let me know if you'd like me to post an example.

Its nice to see AutoDesk using their in house technical terms with the
customers. I know it makes me feel like I'm on the inside loop. 🙂

As of yet there is no Trim gizmo.

Sorry William I just couldn't resist!

Sorry, but there ARE loads of "whizbang-gizmos" in this software. And you
have to remember that I began drafting with a T-square.

Anybody here ever seen one?

I have to agree on the "whiz-bang gizmos" the software looks pretty good so
far. Allthough I and other in my office have had trouble with the "Style
Manager" crashing ADT3. And as far as the T-square you don't have to be too
old to remember those. Shoot I'm only 22 and I began drafting with a wood
T-square my dad made for himself in high school. Of course that was about
12 or 13 years ago, but the T-square size did fit me quite well. It was
only about 24" long and worked great with my little roll away metal desk. I
still have that old T-square sittin' in my closet.

Dustin,

Can you send me a description of your setup, amd possibly steps leading up
to the crashes that you indicate.
Also if you have particular drawings in which the behaviour you describe is
particularly prevalent, I would be interested to have a copy of these also.
Then if we do develop any service packs in the future, we can try and
address the problems you are seeing.

Even though I was never an architect, my T-square is still kicking around my

I've still got my dad's that I used in HS .... it must be around 70 (or so)
years old.

Also still have my Hamilton electric board and Vemco V-Track

Anyone want to purchase either/both, not the "T"
