Window Assemblies - Sills and different heights

What happens when you have a window assembly made up of doubel doors and two sidelights but he sidelights are only 1200 deep whereas the doors are 2100 (metric). is it possible to create a window assembly where the doors and sidelights have different heights???

Secondly, how do you add a custom sill to a window assembly? I have created a mass element to represent a sill but can't seem to attach it to the window assembly. Instead I've attached it to the window inside the window assembly but this then overlaps a bit of the bottom of the window assembly.

Any help on either of these points appreciated.

Try using Curtainwall instead of Window Assembly--you have alot more options for editing/adding components, and adjusting the sill height of the sidelight can be done by drawing a 2d elevation and using"convert tlinework to curtainwall". You can attach a Custom Block in Entity Display/Curtainwall Styles, I beleive. Check Paul Aubins' books on this subject--really good info there.

Mazz,

You can try inserting a door as an interference in
a window assembly. First you insert the door as a free standing door using
(enter); then you click and right click on the window assembly and use Tools
> Interference. Then you select the door. After that, you can edit the two
elements separately. It is a lot more flexible to edit the elements and their
components in this way
