When a room tag is inserted, and the roomobject (under Property Sets) receives a new (manual typed-in) room number, the room number doesn't display on the drawing.
Does anybody know why the room number doesn't display?
Thanks in Advance
Cheers!

Could be lots of reasons.....
Attach a dwg with the block in it and I will take a look.

Hi Fletch97,
I attached a block.
It does have the room number 101, but if you look at the properties I want room number 1200 to be displayed, located under RoomObjects.
Cheers!

You need to change your multi-view room tag block. The attribute is looking for "SPACEOBJECT:NUMBER" and it should be looking for "ROOMOBJECT:NUMBER".
It should work when you do that!

Correct.
Two questions, how do I remove SpaceObject:Number and add RoomObject:Number?
Cheers!

Although this is not step by step instructions, you should be able to start.....
- Insert the block that your multi-view block definition is using
- Edit block in place and change the property set attribute
- Sync your updated block with everything else and re-tag
That's the quick instructions, if you want more help, e-mail me your contact info and I will call you.

I took it a step further and revised your setup a little. I made it so you can change the room tag through the space or room tag live. Rather than trying to name it through the space style which can be limited.
Take a look....it might work better for you.

It's probably best I call you as it does not cost me. Besides I'm just leaving for the day. When's a good time to call and what is your phone number? P.S. I work at the Unversity of Guelph in Ontario, Canada
