Residential Door Tag Posted

For you residential users, check out the ADT Content newsgroup:

Look in David Koch's thread "Simple Door Tags? [ADT 2004]". Sometime back he
put together some door tags REALLY close to what I see on a lot of
residential plans - where a 3'-0" x 6'-8" door, for example, would be
labeled "3068" (with the "0" and the "8" being a bit smaller). David did the
hard part - developing the formula to format the feet and inches properly. I
took it a little bit further and broke his single property up into four,
allowing me to create a tag consisting of four, independently sized
attributes. So, if you've been needing an automatic residential style door
tag that updates when you change the size of the opening, you've got it. You
can reverse engineer what David and I did and create the same thing for
windows as well.

Thanks to the ADT team for adding formula properties to the toolbox!

The old ADT (ACA) Content Discussion Group was not getting a lot of posting activity (particularly since attachments were allowed in all of the groups) and has been discontinued.  The files that Matt and I had posted to there are no longer accessible, so I am attaching them here.  These files are from the 2004 release, so they are DesignCenter content files.  You should be able to copy out the MVBs for the tags (and the associated property set(s)) and create a modern tag tool from the contents.
