can you explain what you mean when you say you try to access it? I don't
know if you mean you are trying to access it to install it, or you have
installed it, and are trying to open AutoCAD.
Something similar to what you describe happened to me and also involved
AutoCAD and Adobe Reader.
Since you do not know much about computers, describing what to do here might
be difficult if not very laborious.
Do you know a fellow student who is a computer whiz and would be willing to
help you? That would be your best bet, unless someone here can provide you
a quick and easily understood solution.
Somehow your associations of the Acad.exe file have become associated with
the Adobe pdf file extension.
Keep in mind that downloading the software does not install the software.
When you start the download process it will ask you if you want to run or
open it, or save it. I think it will ask this twice, and if you say save
it, it is simply downloaded to your hard drive but is not installed. If you
click on Run or Open (I am not sure which it will say for you, but they do
the same), then it will actually do the install. If you did the Save, but
not the Run, then you still need to find the file you downloaded and install
it.
