Move makes multiple copies of objects - regen fixes but some in wrong place

I need some help. I have been using Autocad for 18 years and have never ran into this before. I grab a few objects to move them and it makes multiple copies of some of the object, almost like an array, then when i regen the "multiple objects" go away and some of the original objects are in the wrong place. I have checked latest video drivers, and system variables, but nothing has seemed to have been changed.  copy works fine. it is just the move command that is causing this problem.

You are decribing GHOSTING, when your video card is not able to refresh fast enought to keep up with AutoCAD: what are your system specs and video card/driver? There is no "autoCAD" fix, you have to tone down Windows display settings, downgrade drivers, or change video cards to fix the problem.
