Insert dwg file into Word

Can anyone inform me please what needs to be installed to allow
insertion of a dwg file into Word 2000?
Will appreciate any help.

You don't insert dwg into Word. What you want to do is Cut from autocad and
Paste into Word. That is the simplest way but can be a pain because you
need to switch your autocad screen to white so the black (or what ever color
you have as a background) doesn't print.
What I have been doing lately is plotting to a DWF and inserting a WHIP
object then selecting the location of the DWF file in the properties dialog
of the WHIP. The only problems with DWF is that you can't set transparency
like and image. So you need to weigh your options as to what you want.

Lee,
I've been making Postscript Level1 plot files from AutoCAD, then bringing
them in as a picture into word. I've gotten very high quality images this
way.

Insert -> Object and then select Autocad Drawing from the list. That's if
you want to create a new file in Autocad.
Insert -> Object and then select Create from file to insert an existing
Autocad drawing.
