    Display setting transfer between drawings

In the style manager, styles can be copied and moved between
drawings. Am I missing something or is that capability missing from
the display manager? How does one copy display sets, representations,
and configurations from one drawing to another? Is it possible?

    Thanks

    Use the R2 command: Displayconfigdefiner2
This brings up the good old dialog box for display configs and you can use
    the Import/Export feature bottom right.
Be advised that will this does bring in all necessary associated Display
Sets and Display Reps, it doesn't always set "everything correctly", so
double check set and rep settings.

Wow. Thanks Reid. Is that anywhere in the help files?

    Again thanks a bunch.

    Uh.......no!
You have to know the "secret handshake!"

Here are two more, just for laughs:

    Displaysetdefiner2
    Displaypropsdefaultsr2

    Enjoy!

:-) Wonderful. Thanks for posting them Reid. Sure would like
to talk to the fella that came up with those names or the
    one like this: AecDisplayManagerConfigsSelection

I just don't think they are long enough. Nothing as good
as "supercalifragalisticexpealidocious". Now come to think
about it though, its just one character shy. ;-)

Thanks again. I can't wait for the next hint.

    Regards,
    Doug

I bitc...uh, complained about the lack of these features when 3.3 first came
out, and someone at Autodesk told the NG about them in a response, Chad
Ames, or Chris or someone, so it is way back if you have all 66,000 threads
    you'll find it ;-)

Programmers right. Gotta love em. I have 3 macros in my ACAD.PGP file: DC,
    DRS, and DREP.
