Deleting 3D Wall Modifiers

We had a 3D wall modifier added to a wall in one of our drawings. This wall was copied several times over. Later on, the cad user replaced all the wall styles with a new one in an effort to delete the wall modifiers. This removed the modifier from the walls (it does not show under wall props), however, ADT now performs a long series of calculations everytime you modify a wall. It seems like it's still working with modifiers (AEC OBJ REL GRAPH). This slows down these drawing files immensely. Does anyone know how to remove these modifiers out of the drawing files.
