Is there a easy one-step way to change the size (physical dimensions) of
some of the detail items..for instance the 6" batt insulation doesn't fit in
a 2x6 stud wall (it's only 5 1/2" wide) and will run into either the
sheathing or the drywall.

Edit the AecMaterials.mdb with Microsoft Access. There are default tables in
which you can edit the widths and even add more choices, etc. It is located
in the following directory:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\Autodesk
Architectural Desktop 2004\R16.0\enu\Support\AecDetails

Rehashing old stuff here:
I'm back on my own for now and have ADT 2004. I would like to edit the AECMaterials.mdb file to add in proper batt insulation sizes.
I don't have MS Access, so instead I downloaded Open Office and am trying to edit it there. I can see the 07-BATT-I table, can see the sizes, but can't seem to do anything with them. I can't add, edit or do anything else except change the order in which I'm viewing them.
Any suggestions?
