I have a wall style for toilet partitions and a door style for the doors in
those partitions (taken from the OOTB toilet partition door style). I have
modified the door in properties to be 5'-10" to the head, and 1'-0" to the
bottom (which is what it is in the real world). This shows up correctly in
plan. However in elevation/model, the toilet partition displays under the
door, below the 1'-0" bottom. I kind of understand why this is happening,
but is there a way to prevent it from doing that? I want there to be
nothing below the door...

Thanks in advance

I poked around a this too. But I got lazy and just trimmed out the wall
and insert the partition door without an anchor. In reality this is
what's happening anyway I guess and I'm not likely to want to drag the
door around on the partition surface.

You could replace the door panel with a block the correct size. Turn
off the display of the door panel in every display rep that matters (say
model and elevation) and on the others tab select the block to replace
it with. I'm attaching a half completed example.

Hmm good idea. A DWA with a lower cell and frame that is "hidden" may
work well.

can you add a wall opening the same size as the door?

Yet another method.
Insert the door elevated 1'-0" above the threshold. Modify the floor line of your wall where the door is. (Draw a polyline at the bottom of the door opening and "Project to polyline")

Great suggestion. The Floor-Line projection works perfect!
