Are there drawing file reparation service somewhere?

Hi,
I am an independent ADT consultant in Hungary. My clients sometimes produce
drawing files cannot be opened anymore by using the available recover
function of AutoCAD/ADT.
Sometimes it helps if I try to recover such drawings with a next version of
ADT (2005, 2006) but sometimes not.
Our official ADT Resellers here in Hungary do not know about any "Drawing
Reparation Service" provided by the Autodesk itself.
Is it true that there is no any help in such a situation?

Imre

I do not know of any such service. Lots of people come here and post the problem drawing to get the users to try to open them. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

AutoDESK does provide a "Fee Based Support" system.

It may be that if you are s subscriber to this support, they may also
provide drawing recovery as part of this service.

You can find much better help than hiring Autodesk Imre. They will cheat
you --- $$$ --- too expensive. All you need right now is help learning the
correct English words to use when searching...

Google: "drawing file conversion"
Google: "drawing file recovery"

You should also post questions about "drawing file conversion" and "drawing
file recovery" to news://pn.cadmanager and the CAD Managers will give you
some advice.
