    Tony,

I have uninstalled all Autodesk products, and have
followed TS45252 exactly. I spent some time removing every entry in the registry
that was related to Autodesk products.  I rebooted and the system was
OK.  I then installed ADT 2i and continue to have the same problem (no AEC
    functionality without crash.)

There must be some file relied on by ADT which is
not overwritten during the install process or some registry setting that I have
    not identified, which needs deleting.

I notice during installation if I squint at the
files screaming across the screen that entries / alterations occur in Window
    System 32 folder.

Can you shed any light on what else I might
    try.

    Craig.

    Craig,

I ran into similar problem when we upgraded
computer and got XP as the OS. I finally had to contact AutoDesk and they faxed
to me specific instuctions for doing a 'clean' uninstall. I have had other
problems since but the AEC loading mech. is working fine.

I am bucking to have 2000 OS installed instead of
the XP. I have that at home and I have not had to reboot comp. for 7+ months now
    and ADT runs 24/7.

Hope this sheds some light for ya.
