I was editing an xref drawing using the xref editor, and after finishing the edit, and after clicking the save the changes button, I got a popup telling me that Autodesk didn't want to save the changes, for whatever reason.
I was the only person accessing the drawing (which resides on our server).
Autodesk gave me this prompt multiple times, and then somehow allowed me to save changes after a few prompts.
HOWEVER, after "successfully" saving changes back to the xrefed drawing, the file I was editing disappeared from the project navigator, AND from the folder on the server as well. I have to restore the file from a backup, and then re-add it to the project navigator.
This is the second time this has happened, trying to edit different xref files.
Any ideas on what could be causing this?
I'm using ADT 2004, with all the latest hotfixes and service packs installed.
