2007 RIZ RENDER

AS I BEGAN WORKING ON A PROJECT I TIRED TO LINK TO VIZ RENDER (FILE>>LINK TO AUTODESK VIZ RENDER...)TO ONLY FIND OUT IT WILL NOT START..ON THE COMMAND LINE IT COMES UP......"_VizRender Unknown command "VIZRENDER". Press F1 for help." DID I MISS A STEP ON THE SET-UP?

no, I noticed on my install yesterday that I had to add it (along with
express tools) during the custom install.

Remember you don't need to do a re-install..just go to Add/Remove
programs>ADT2007>Change and add the features you forgot on original install.

Makes you wonder why viz render isn't installed bu default. It seems the express tools are not part of the default install either???

Express tools are removed from the typical install because of known issues
with the use of express tools. More information can be found here. TS84871

I suppose the thinking was that anyone who had not already learned VIZ Render would likely use the new-and-improved rendering tools in AutoCAD. Doing a custom install is not really all that hard - even an architect can do it. If you have already installed, follow the suggestion in the previous post about installing additional components, rather than unistalling and reinstalling.
