Does somebody knows how to make a helix shape? i need to make a helix out of a shaped like rectangle like to twist it and make it look like a helix

Yes there is, and for your needs it s pretty handy.
The way to do it in alias is through the RAIL surface tool.
Imagine a long rectangular strip, say 100cm long by 10 cm wide. Let s model this basic slab (surface) with the rail tool.
I suppose you can do that. Now on the rail tool options, there s a otion called Rotate Xform. Type say, 1500 in there. There u go, if you want to have say, a helix curve, you can duplicate one edge of that helix surface and you get the curve. Now you can extrude any shape you need along that helix path.
