trouble with page setup and printing 24"x36"

i am trying to save a 24" x 36" drawing so i can print from another location. everytime i change the paper size in page layout to 24" x 36", it shows the page to be tiled in 8 1/2 x 11" sheets. I want it to be printed to 24" x 36" paper and not be tiled. I can't find any information online describing this problem. I am looking for some suggestions.

Hi

First what are you printing to? Are you printing to a pdf file? Download cutepdf printdriver so you can print to pdf. Goto File printer, and set the page size in the printer driver you are using ie 24x36. Then goto to page setup and setup what you want.

thanks for the reply
i am printing w/cutepdf
i goto fileprinterpage setupcustom
and type in 24" x 36"
then print preview shows 12 tiles
and won't allow me to print the size i need on

"Page size" and "Paper Size" are two separate settings. I start by making sure that BOTH are set to your desired size in AS.

There might also be similar setting in your pdf maker software.

Hi,

File-->Print Cutepdf driver
Properties --> Landscape , advanced postscript page size 22x36 ->ok, ok
View to print ---> Page View
Sizing Method ---> Fitted to printed page, print preview -->close
File page setup ----> Standard Size D Size 22 x34, landscape


If you are printing something bigger than 22x34 it will scale with these setting to fit on the printer page set in cutepdf 22x34.
