Sam, if you need to convert an AutoSketch 2.0 .SKD file into a format
that AutoSketch 7 or 8 will read, there is a file conversion utility
that can open, and save (only) so that your drawing will open in the
later Sketch versions. It's also located in the Sketch 7 "21fc" folder
on the CD.

Otherwise it can be located from our downloads page.

Search for it here: http://support.autodesk.com/enu/Homepage.asp

Derek -

Gentlemen -

Please remember that "sharing" of CDs is not permissable under
the terms of your software agreement. Sharing those CDs, even old
versions, is software piracy.

Sam, if you are in the United States, try calling the
Autodesk Customer Service Center at 800-538-6401 to see if there
is any way they can help you out. If you are not in the US (and I
cannot tell from your email address), look in
http://www.autodesk.com for the Autodesk office phone number in
your location.

Hi there,

I have downloaded and installed the free and limited version of Auto Sketch to try and convert some old archive files to dwg (or dxf).  I can open them with no problem but the save as function (as save doesn't work!) will only allow me to save as skd or skt.

Do you have any suggestions please?

Thanks in advance...

You need a full version of the software, not the freeware.

Ok - thank you.  I'll contact Autodesk directly and/or find a re-seller.
