I am now using WindowsXP Pro. and Office 2003 and have installed AutoSketch 5.0 to the system.
I bought the CD when I was using Windows95 but on several later upgrades of Windows I didn't re install it.

After installing AutoSketch, today, from my CD the message
"Cannot load Word files for the windows 6.0 files" appeared
I then Installed the AutoSketch Version 5.00 to Version 5.03 Patch ( patch P500ie.exe )

I then tried to import the WMF files but couldn't find the WMF files on the CD.
This didn't Work. Can I download this file?

Issue
When you import some WMF files into AutoSketch® Release 7 software, the files are
blank.

Solution

This occurs when the WMF files contain only raster data and no vector data.
Use the following procedure to work around this problem:

Insert the WMF file into a Microsoft® Word document.
Copy the WMF object to the clipboard.
In AutoSketch software, choose Paste Special fromt he Edit menu and paste teh object into the drawing as a Word document
The raster information in the WMF should now be visible.

When I went to AutoSketch/About it came up with,
AutoSketch release 5.0 ( in the bottom right it had: 5.01 February 6, 1998

Should this 5.0 version work OK with XP Pro.?
I sent an email to Autodesk re this and am waiting for a response
