Version 2.1 error message

I get the message "Cannot open the default template file, TEMPLATE.DEF. This file must be located in the same directory as SKETCH.EXE before Autosketch can continue." As far as I know it is located in the same directory. I need help quick. Students depend on this. Thanks.

I removed the file TEMPLATE.DEF from the sketch directory but sketch works still fine. No error messages.
Did it work before on the same system or did it occur after changing something?
If you updated your Windows try the "well known" patch for sketch 2.1!
