I just got my Asketch 9 yesterday and already have a question for ya. I cannot figure out how to turn the grid on and off and surely there is a way??

Well it's not thaaaaaaaaaaat easy to / understand in help.for a new guy.
First you have to decide exactly what you want:
Turn off the display of the grid: View -> options -> appearance
Turn off it's effects: by various methods, take "grid" out of the enabled snapping options

That did the trick Fred - many thanks! In drawing knives there comes a time when the grid is a major distraction to me.
