Text In Box

When I draw polygons to represent the shape of a room and use the
automatic dimensioning "%area" for one of the fields, sometimes the text
is displayed not exactly in the middle of the shape, or it hangs over
the edges, or displays itself on top of some text already displayed by
another (adjacent) shape. Once I draw a shape and have the text
displayed as part of that shape, can I move the text that is displayed
without altering the shape itself?

Hello

Unfortunately this cannot be done. It is one issue that has been requested
for future stuff but for the moment it just sits in the middle of the
object.

The other way to do this is to inquire [?] about the properties of the
polygon and copy and paste the area, but it will not update.

Maybe in AS9/AS10/.... they could add a handle to the field so that you can
move the text, as per the dimension text.
