I work for a steel fabrication firm, where we don't heavily use CAD - but we do receive quite a few architectural drawings in .DWG format from our clients.
I've currently got issues where one of our regular customers keeps emailing us .DWG files he said he designed using "an old version of Autosketch" (trying to find out which version he has, specifically - but that's all I know at the moment). Every time I open one of these using DWG TrueView 2008 and plot it, it looks like it was stretched in one direction, but scaled properly in the other. I've tried plotting with "fit to page" both check-marked and un-checked, and with the aspect ratio manually set to 1:100, as well as "Custom" with the defaults TrueView filled in automatically. Every time, I get the same results.
Are there any known issues with Autosketch not making DWGs that are scaled correctly when they're opened/plotted from other software??
Thanks in advance!
