Just thought I would ask...!!!

Why can't I save this AutoSketch 9 .skf file in AutoSketch 9 as a .dxf (2000
or 2004) and re-open the saved .dxf in AutoSketch 9...???

Any takers...??? Rod...???

Ric Norris.

Interesting problem Ric. 🙂 I did get it to reopen if I saved it as a 12,
though it warned it was flattening 3d.

Ah! Merge it into an empty drawing. I got it to work as 2004 dxf then.

I am guessing a corrupt database. I saw a can't read row y of table x.

It doesn't really matter...merging as you suggest, works but Title Block
information (which I didn't include in the sample) goes all pear-shaped.

I have a client who is running....or trying to run...AS9 on a Mac and I
think they're having viewing issues. If push comes to shove, they might
need to purchase a cheap laptop or 2 for their CAD requirements.

Cheers once again.

Ric.
