I just discovered a problem with opening a DXF file in AS7 on a DXF from a QM3D export. All the layers that QM creates are there but all the data points are combined into the 0 layer. Also not all the lines are recognized. I found the error by importing the same data file into DesignCad at work and the things I thought I was missing were there in their proper places.
BTW this is my first post here and don't know if this has been brought up before. I came here looking to see if there was an update/patch that might fix the problem. Does anyone know if AS v8 also does this?
My work around was to open the QM3D DXF in DesignCad and then add any extra layers I want and export either another DXF or DWG R14 that I can open in AS7 with no problems.
