The following link will direct you to download the PDF Hands On A House manual installation file (HandsSetup_2011.exe)

The default directory is C:\CAD with the manual and an advanced manual being placed in the C:\CAD\MANUAL folder.
The exercise files will be in the HANDS folder.

I spotted this rather late at night, downloaded and, considerably later still, felt I should add my thanks. I have the rel 6 User's Guide which as you very fairly acknowledge is not at all bad but I always like to have at least two sources of help and there seems to be a real dearth of third party books on AS (the two I have are for rels 1-3, both of which pre-date the AS mid-life brain transplant).
