I have several very important .SKD files that were created in pre2.0
version is there any way to convert these to .SKF? V6 will not open

Thanks for any help.

As stated in the Readme.wri file, you need to first open and save the
file in AutoSketch Release 2.1.
You can download AutoSketch Release 2.1fc from:

This is a limited release which just allows file open and save commands.

In 1993 we made drawings in Autosketch.  They are skd files.  We saved them to a 3-1/2 floppy disk.  We recently have a need to open these files.  We hired someone local to copy the files from our old media to DVD.  At first we were told that this particular 3-1/2 floppy was a bad disk.  He said he got the message that it wasn’t formatted.  So he just moved on to other disks.  When I told him it was important to get these files if possible he tried some recovery tools and was able to get all files except 4.  But now when we go to open them in Wsketch2, it says that this is not an Autosketch file and cannot open it.  We were trying to open this in Wsketch2 (Autosketch 2).  I also went on line and got the Autosketch file conversion, but it doesn’t work with these files either.  When I try to select one of these files in Wsketch2 or the file conversion version, the name of the file shows up in the Autosketch window, but not the outline of the file.  Then when I try to open it it says it is not an Autosketch file.  Would you have any ideas that might help me with this problem?

Sounds like the file is corrupted.

You can go to professional recovery places if you're willing to spend the money.
