Is it possible to import existing Turbocad Files (TCW)into Autosketch Release 7?
    Please use plain text.

I have done some work in TurboCAD and converted it to AutoSketch via DWG. Sometimes
there is a problem with text moving and line thickness. For the most part my files
    have looked OK.

AutoSketch 6 uses DWG rev 14 file format. This seems to work well. I think AS 7
uses DWG 2000 and others here have reported issues with its ability to read DWG
    files.

    Hello

AutoSketch can import DWG and DXF files.

However line styles and symbols may change, so don't expect 100%, probably
80%. This also depends on TurboCAD export configuration and computability.

    Hello --

Using the DXF format to copy from TCAD to QC7 (and I suppose to
AS6 or AS7) works pretty well -- *but* please delete any
"Construction Lines" from the TCAD drawing before converting.
These lines if converted can cause the most frustrating and
    obscure errors to appear in your QC (and probably also AS) files;
quite often, after a long period of use in the QC world.

    Take care,
    Will
