Is there any good way to get AS V7 to include the bearings (N80dW) when
dimensioning a survey map?

Hello
Go to DrawingOptions and change the Angle setting to bearing.
To get the text onto the page, select the line and highlight the bearing
reference in the Edit Bar.
[Ctrl] + to copy the highlighted bearing then
[Ctrl] + to paste it where you want, rotating it with the rotation
handle whilst holding the [Shift] key.
